What Mileage Should I Be At Before Getting My Oil Changed In My 2013 Chrysler 20

do I need to change my oil every 3000 miles? I was told I could go to 10000 in my new car

Synthetic oils suppossedly are safe to 7,500 miles while traditional oil needs to be changed every 3,000 miles. But really I would suggest changing the oil every 3,000 no matter what type it is or what the salesman told you. Theres no such thing as too much maintainance. And going 10,000 miles between oil changes very well may void your warranty.

(oil changes are cheaper than motors)
