Where Is The Spare Tire Located?

The spare tire is located under the vehicle midway between the front and rear end. To remove is a little tricky. You must remove the console located in the front of the vehicle in between the driver and passenger seat (in general the compartment containing the cup holders). Once removed if you look toward the front of where the console was located you will see a medal stud. Your van was furnished with a flimsy jack and wrenching tool. Take the wrenching tool (or pliers if you have them) and rotate the stud as if you were loosening a bolt. A pulley type mechanism  holding the tire under your vehicle will release the spare tire slowly. Once it has been fully released you can use your wrenching tool to help fetch it from under the van. Once you have removed the tire be sure to rotate the stud the opposite direction to reel the spare tire holder back in place. This is an overly complicated process that should be practiced at home or in a controlled environment. That way it will be a breeze when it happens to you in the middle of no-where,
