If it died while it was parked and not running:
It could be a power drain from something that isn't shutting down when you turn the car off. Not many components in a vehicle can drain the power that fast. I would check the brake lights and see if they are staying on after you park the car. A defective or out of adjustment brake light switch may be the problem.
If the car died when it was running:
Probably a bad alternator or a loose belt that runs the alternator. Your car's battery will run down very fast if your alternator isn't replacing the electricity required to operate it.
May also be corroded battery cables. You must have a solid connection between the battery and the cables. Make sure they are not corroded and they have been tightened down securely to the battery.
P.S. If none of the above ideas work, try putting a battery from another vehicle into your vehicle and see if that one drains down as well. You can also put your battery in another car to see if it will crank or start the other car. Eliminate the battery as the problem and you're well on your way to finding the answer to the power drain.
