Why Engine Shuts Off While Driving?

While driving my 2007 Aspen, the engine will turn off. It always has started right back up, but can't find the cause. It doesn't do it every time I drive it. But sometimes it does it several times in one day. Do you know what may cause this. It's not very safe for me to drive my two little boys in.
