How To Reset Oil Life

CHANGE OIL SOON Light
For a 2012 3.6 Malibu:
1. Hold the two bottom buttons on the steering wheel: Info and the "return" arrow under it. Do not be confused with the button that is labeled "Res", this is the "resume" button for the cruise control. Hold for about 1 or 2 seconds at the same time and release.
2. The words "Oil Life Reset" should be showing on the display. Hold and release the same two buttons for approximately 1-2 seconds again and release.
3. The display should read "Acknlowledge"
