Heat Not Getting Hot, Where Is The Thermostat Located And How So I Replace It?

Just tried heat this past week, first time this fall. It won't get hot and won't stay warm. Where is the thermostat located and how easy is it to replace? Don't wanta pay anyone Ito do it unless absolutely necessary.
