Instrument Panel Says Engine Hot A/c Off
i replaced the A/C unit motor still says same thing.do i need to reset to factory reset

It could be due to defective thermostat, low coolant due to an external leak i.e. radiator hose, heater hose, some engine gaskets, loose clamp, etc.
low coolant due to an internal leak i.e. burning thru the engine (does your exhaust come out looking like white smoke and have an antifreeze smell?)
clogged radiator, please check with dealership
