My guess would be your radiator fan is not working. If you have A/C in your car, you should have two fans. One should run when the car is idling and the other should come on when you turn on the A/C. The fastest way to check them is to idle it for awhile and crank the A/C. Both fans should come on. If one doesn't come on, then that is the defective fan.

Check the fuse for that fan before buying a new one. Could just be a blown fuse, but I doubt it.
