I Have A 2006 Equinox . The Radio Stays On With Key Out And The Door Open.
It is only the Drivers door that does this . I have herd about a R>A>P> module ? But it only does this on the drivers door . Is there a R.A.P. type switch on the door handle ? The one R. A. P. Module is located by the right vent on the dash someone said . I guess the other R.A.P. module would be on the door handle ( if it is only doing it on one door .What does it look like and is it a big deal to replace . I have worked on cars for years ( just need to know ) where it is what it is and the correct name or it . To find one !!! Thank You

Read your owners manual. In almost all cars manufactured in the last ten years, the head lamps, radio and the window buttons still work for a few minutes after you turn the key off. The owners manual will tell you how to adjust the settings so the lights go off immediately or the radio stops immediately, etc.
