2005 Chevy Tahoe - Studdering On Slight Acceleration

I have a 2005 tahoe that accelerates great but once at a point where slight acceleration is present, usually @ 50 mph but could be less or more, it studders and shakes but once I accelerate again it stops.  It isnt a balancing of the tires issue, it appears to be something mechanical / fuel misfire.  New timing belt @ 25 k miles ago.  Total miles on vehicle 130k. Please advise....
