2005 Malibu V-6 Oil Filter Location.

The oil filter is very easy to get to. Its located right beside the oil pan. 

Some compatible oil filters for the GM 3500 3.5L V6 engine include the Purolator L10111, ACDelco PF47, K&N HP-1001, Fram PH3387A and Mobil 1 M1-101
