05 Impala Sometimes Will Blow Cold Air When On When Set For Heat

have automatic start so start it up waiting for it to warm up.   but when go outside to get in still freezing cold even after running for 30-40 minutes. ITS LIKE THE HEATER IS NOT EVEN ON
