Need Direx On How To Replace A Door Check On The Lf Door On My 2004 Trailblazer

There will be either a switch or a set of metal contacts that tell the car if the tailgate is open or closed. If it's a switch it will look like a small metal plunger along one of the door edges. Make sure it works correctly, push it in with your finger, make sure it's not bent. If contacts, they will be round brass metal about dime size. Check that they are clean or not damaged.
