Front Passenger Seat Won't Go Back

The front passenger seat won't go back at all...just stuck stright upright.  Any suggestions?  The lever goes up and down but to no avail.

Check to see if handle is loose. Most people aren't that lucky.

My handle is 100% fine but the metal piece under the plastic handle broke. The metal they used was incredibly crappy.  You may be able to take the handle off and grip the metal just enough with pliers to get it into a decent seating position.

Other options are replace seat or replace the $160 seat bracket. You would also need some other tools too.  gmseatsolutions dot com makes replacement handles for S10s but they do not have Astro/Safari listed.  You could try and contact them.
