A/c Refrigerant Adaptor Value

could you please tell me the size of the A/C refriegerant adaptor vaule I need to fill the the freon on a 2003 Chevy Malibu? I purchased a can of R-134a refregerant from AUtoZone and the valve on the can does not fit.
