How do you turn off the traction control on a Chevy Cavalier?

Generally, that button the question asks about has two functions. If you just press it quickly, it turns off traction control (and on my SS, two quick presses was what you needed for Track mode). But if you hold it down for 5-10 seconds, it turns stability control off.

What does it mean when your car says low Trac?

What does "TRAC OFF" and "LOW TRAC" lights mean on the instrument cluster. Trac Off means the traction control system is off. Low trac means your on board computer sensed wheel slip and engaged the traction control system so the vehicle does not skid or slide.

solution

How do you reset the check engine light on a 2003 Chevy Cavalier?

Without turning on your car, turn the key to the right and you will see all of your dash lights come on. Press on the brake 4 times. On the 4th time, hold the brake petal down for 30 seconds and release. This should reset the light.
