Brake Problems

the pedal goes to the floor in hard braking. the shop said this is normal. bs no fluid loss. weak pedal on hard braking

If the fluid level in the master cylinder is at the "full" line and there are no leaks, then the problem is air in your brake lines. The shop will need to bleed all 4 wheels to get rid of the air.

The only other possibility is a bad master cylinder, but I would hope these "mechanics" would be able to detect a bad master cylinder.

P.S. Go to another shop because these guys are idiots. Any auto repair shop person that tells you that your brakes going to the floor is okay is a moron. You could get into a serious accident if you have poor braking ability.
