Security Light Stays On And Will Not Start.
My oil pressure gauge started fluctuating, so to determine true nature of problem I replaced op switch. Still had fluctuations, so I installed a sunpro gauge. Running the tubing next to wiring harness in firewall and being extra careful not to come in contact with any wires.but tried to start and will not start. Now showing security light on dash (steady). So removed gauge and put back to original, but security light stays on and not flashing even with key out.I have tried all billions of reset procedures for passlock to no avail .any help would be greatly appreciated as I can not afford to send it to the dealer. -2001 Chevy s-10 4.3l 2wd (w)
