How Do I Get My Change Oil Lite To Go Off In My 2000 Impala

To turn off the oil lite after you change your oil .You if im correct go to your stero function turn key to acc then left side buttons hold in you well hear a cherp and push buttons untill you see the oil change ( look for the oil) statement thenpush in then volume button i think you well hear a ding ? scroll through until it comes to end then exit. Bear with me but I know it's through the stero buttons thou. I need to do the same thing darn it so you are not alone good luck fellow impala owner.
