Head Gasket Changed, Now Have Rough Running At Between 50 To 60 Km

I am writing from Powell River, BC Canada and I recently had a head gasket changed.  (High Coolant Temp warning).  Now the car is "shivering" at approx. 50 km.  The dealer then changed the plugs and still no difference.  I have spent approx. $2,300 from regular service job, to head gasket, to change plugs and it is not fixed.  Do you have any idea what could be wrong with this 2000 Chevy Impala, 3.4L V6??? Thank you, Karen Crashley

Does your car have overdrive (OD on shifter display)? Try running the car in drive (D) instead of overdrive. If it doesn't run rough, then the problem is with the transmission. Do a transmission filter and fluid change and that might fix the problem.

Overdrive going bad usually means the tranny is on the way out, but a filter and fluid change may buy you some time.
