Muffler

I need a new muffler, the shops are suggesting a toyota muffler and say it's all I can get for that car. They are very expensive and I can't afford it. What can I do or go for a cheaper price?

the Chevy Prizm is the same car via the powertrain as a toyota Corolla. the Reason why they recommend a toyota muffler is because your car is equipped with a toyota engine. So that is your best option for replacement
