2 Wheel Drive Options

Wondering if my 98 Chevy Blazer LS is meant to stay in two wheel drive at all times? If not how do I disengage how just to run normal two wheel?

Four wheel (so I suppose you meant) to 2 wheel drive? Yes this is suppose to be possible and failure to disengage thus will mean a slipping transmission most likely.
