You probably have a clogged fuel filter. It's located under the car, along the driver's side frame rail. It has the fuel line from the gas tank coming into it and a fuel line going out to the engine compartment. It looks like a small silver canister.

Not hard to replace, but you should relieve the fuel pressure in the line before removing the filter. Remove the fuel pump relay and crank the engine a few times. That should relieve most of the fuel pressure. That procedure helps to prevent any fuel from spraying when you disconnect the filter.

It is also a good idea to disconnect the negative battery before you remove the filter. That eliminates any chance of spark, which may ignite the fuel vapors.
