Look to see the color of the anti-freeze. In 1995 some gm vehicles started using dex-cool which is orange/pink in color. Some still used ethylene glycol which is bright green. you cannot mix the two kinds. If you are adding coolant it should be mixed 50/50 with water unless you buy the pre-mixed kind which is available for both types.
