1992 Chevy Silverado K1500 Has No Spark And No Power To Fuel Pump

hey this is jack and this 92 chevy silverado k1500 has no spark and no power getting to the fuel pump, fuel pump relay, or the inline fuse. All fuses are good, test lighted damn near every wire. So I bypassed the relay and got fuel pump to kick on. With the key on if i unplug the split 4 wire clip going into the top of the coil and the moment i reconnect the plug the injectors pulsate, shooting fuel into TBI as they should. And that there is where the 12v power ends. When i turn it over there's nothing coming out of the secondary windings of the coil to the distributor.

It sounds like there may be a problem with the ignition system on your 1992 Chevy Silverado K1500. There are a few possible causes for this issue, including:
  1. A faulty ignition control module (ICM) or distributor pick-up coil. These components are responsible for triggering the ignition coil and creating the spark that starts the engine.
  2. A bad ignition coil. The coil is responsible for creating the high-voltage spark that is sent to the spark plugs.
  3. A faulty crankshaft position sensor. This sensor tells the ignition module when to fire the spark plugs.
  4. A problem with the wiring or connections in the ignition system. Check for any loose, corroded, or damaged wires and connections in the ignition system.
  5. A bad battery or alternator, if the battery is weak or the alternator is not working the spark will not be enough to start the engine.

It's best to troubleshoot the problem by checking for power and ground at the coil and the ICM and check for continuity in the wiring and connections. If you are not sure about how to check these things, it's recommended to take your truck to a professional mechanic or a Chevy dealer for further assistance.
