Tv Remote Ok/select Not Working Properly

press system on get please wait "AV" appears top left of display, followed byi "COMPONENT" press GUIDE to get list Channel 2 highlighted is what I want press OK/select - guide disappears only channel bar remains for a few seconds before screen goes blank
