Hardware Switch:

Locate the Printer Select Switch on the right side of the calculator. It has two positions: "On" and "Off." Slide the switch to "Off" to completely disable printing.

Menu Setting:

Press the MENU key.

Use the arrow keys to navigate to the System Setup option.

Press the ENTER key.

Scroll down to the Auto Paper Feed setting.

Change the setting to Off using the arrow keys. This will prevent the paper from automatically feeding through the printer for every calculation.

Calculation Methods:

Use the Memory (M+) button: Store frequently used values in memory using the M+ button. This reduces the need to re-enter them, minimizing printing.

Chain Calculations: Utilize the calculator's chaining capabilities to perform multiple calculations without printing each step. Simply press the = button after each calculation to chain it to the next.

Preview Mode: Some versions of the FR-2650A offer a preview mode. Press the PREVIEW button before printing to see a preview of the printed output. You can then choose to print or cancel based on your needs.

Additional Tips:

Use the RECALL key to retrieve stored values from memory, reducing the need to re-enter them and print them again.

Utilize the Decimal Position setting to limit the number of decimal places displayed and printed, minimizing paper usage.

If you need a record of your calculations, consider manually writing them down or using the calculator's Print Error Mode to print only error messages or specific calculated values.

Remember to consult your FR-2650A user manual for detailed instructions and additional printing options specific to your model.

I hope this information helps you find the best way to inhibit printing on your Casio FR-2650A calculator!
