Prints Come Out Super Dark

I have a Mac computer and a Canon Pixma MG 6220 printer. When I print anything on photo paper and select glosy every picture comes out really dark. Does not show color at all like it displays on the screen.

The print quality settings of your Canon PIXMA MG6220 printer may be set to Best Quality. Lower the quality to Normal or Fast Draft to lighten the color. You can set it by following the instructions provided below.

1. Open your MS Word file to be printed

2. Print it by pressing the Ctrl + P keys

3. In the Print dialog box, click Properties

4. Under the Media dialog box, select the Normal or Fast Draft
