If the roller with the numbers on your Canon MP18D calculator has been moved manually, it can cause the calculator to print the wrong numbers. Here are a few steps you can try to fix the problem:
  1. Refer to the manual: The manual for your calculator should have instructions on how to properly align the rollers.
  2. Reset the calculator: Try turning off the calculator and turning it back on. This may reset the rollers to their proper position.
  3. Align the rollers: Manually align the rollers to the correct position. Make sure that the numbers on the roller match up with the numbers on the calculator's display.
  4. Check for dirt or debris: Check for dirt or debris in the calculator that may have caused the roller to move out of position. Clean the calculator if necessary.
  5. Check for any damage or wear: Check for any damage or wear on the rollers or gears that may have caused the problem.

If the problem persists after trying these steps, it may be best to contact the manufacturer or a professional for further assistance.

To reset a Canon MP18D calculator, you can try the following steps:
  1. Turn off the calculator.
  2. Press and hold the "AC/ON" button.
  3. While holding the "AC/ON" button, press and release the "RESET" button, which is typically located on the back or bottom of the unit.
  4. Release the "AC/ON" button.

This process will reset the calculator to its factory settings, erasing any saved data. If this doesn't work or if you need further help, you can refer to the calculator user manual or contact Canon customer support for further assistance. Please be aware that this process may vary depending on the specific model of your Canon MP18D calculator.
