Over Heating

my 1994 cadillac eldorado is over heating on dash reads engine hot then displays a/c compressor off. Wat do i do

Here is what you are most likely looking at

There should be nothing wrong with the A/C compressor as the system is just designed to shut off the compressor to try and lower engine temp (when overheating is detected)
Be sure, therefor, that the electric radiator fans are running
Check you coolant level to be sure it is still on an acceptable level
Check your overall cooling system - may have to replace the thermostat or temp sensor
