Battery Dies

I have a 2008 buick Lucerne that when left unused for a couple of days the battery dies, What is the problem?

Something in the vehicle is draining the battery. Not many things can kill a battery in a couple of days. My best guess would be that your brake lights are staying on after you shut off the car. Check the brake lights after parking the car and see if they are still on.

If that's the problem, you will have to adjust or replace the brake light switch. It's a switch at the top of the brake pedal shaft. Look up under the dash and you should see it. Try bending the bracket that holds it in place down a little and see if that gets the brake lights to turn off. If not, you will have to replace the switch. 

The only other thing that can do it is if you leave the key in the car and leave it in the "ON" position. If you do leave your keys in the car, always be sure that the key is in the off position. Remember, if you can't remove the key from the ignition, it's not in the off position.
