2008 Enclave ~ Killing My Pocket With Only 12 Mpg...took To Shop, Changed Air Fi

what to do to improve or FIX mpg...only had 25k upon purchase, now at 37 almost...considering getting rid of it. Love everything but the gas mileage. Took it back to carmax, they changed air filters, and checked everything out, think they cleaned spark plugs... can I do anything else? Tire pressure is good. I even added something to clean fuel inj to my tank...didn't make any difference. I drive slow and careful and don't gun it... this is so frustrating... a very expensive vehicle purchase, now this... one man wrote on blog he had some transmission work (didn't specify) and it was doing a bit better on mileage... PlEASE HELP ; )
