There are a few possible reasons why the wipers on your 2006 Buick Rainier won't turn off. Here are some of the most common causes:

Faulty wiper switch: The wiper switch is the control that turns the wipers on and off. If the switch is faulty, it may not be able to properly turn the wipers off.

Faulty wiper motor: The wiper motor is the actuator that moves the wiper blades. If the motor is faulty, it may not be able to stop the wiper blades from moving.

Faulty park switch: The park switch is a mechanism that tells the wiper motor to stop the wiper blades at the bottom of the windshield. If the park switch is faulty, the wiper blades may not be able to stop.

Wiring problem: There may be a problem with the wiring that connects the wiper switch, motor, and park switch. This can cause the wipers to malfunction.

If your wipers won't turn off, you can try the following troubleshooting steps:

Check the wiper switch. Make sure that it is turned to the "off" position.

Check the wiper motor. Try turning the wiper blades by hand. If the motor is not working, it may need to be replaced.

Check the park switch. Make sure that it is not stuck in the "on" position.

Check the wiring. Inspect the wiring that connects the wiper switch, motor, and park switch for any damage.

If you have checked all of the above and the wipers still won't turn off, you may need to take the car to a mechanic to have it diagnosed and repaired.

Here are some additional tips to keep in mind:

Do not drive with the wipers on if they are not working properly. This can damage the windshield and the wiper blades.

If you are unable to fix the problem yourself, take the car to a mechanic as soon as possible. Driving with the wipers on improperly can be dangerous.

I hope this helps!
