1997 Buck Skylark Custom

1997 Buick Skylark custom 2.4 L engine... Turns over but no start..Hooked a jumper wire from F/P fuse to + side of battery, starts & runs great...Am I harming my car????

Your fuel pump may be drawing too much AMPs possibly because it is dying. If it is the fuel pump being faulty, then you are most likely safe and can thus continue until it completely yield.
