1997 Buick Park Avenue Battery

Battery went dead so I jumped it and now the motor cranks over well but won't start. Gas gauge didn't move when I turned on ignition so put 5 gallons of fresh gas in it. Still won't start. the car has less then 90,000 miles like new. Any suggestions.
