Park Light Does Not Go Down

Hello. I just bought a reatta 1989. Nice car :D But the parking light does not go off. I have to remove the cable of the battery. Had anyone a proleme like this, too? Have I go to the garage or is there a trick to get off the parking light? If i push the button parking light nothing will happend. Thanks for your help. Greetings Jacky
