Stitches Sewing On Wrong Side Of Fabric

My Brother Xr 1300 is sewing decorative stitches wrong side up, ie bobbin thread is acting as if it is the top thread. I have turned the machine off then on again, and have unplugged the machine, waited for 10 seconds plugged it back in and turned it back on. It was not doing this earlier. How do I fix this?
