Screw Missing

I took my LS 590 a park because the light bulb broke and I had to take off the front part of the machine to get into the bulb so I could unscrew the bottom of the bulb. When I put the screws back into the machine I guess I lost one of the screws because now the bar that goes up and down is loose and it's because I don't have the screw and can't find it. In other words I need another screw. Thank you

Your first step should be to call the manufacturer. If this was missing from your purchase (and maybe even if not) Brother will almost certainly send you gratis what you need. (Use the contact information at https://www.contacthelp.com/brother%20international/customer-service.) If you can't get what you seek from the company, you may be able to obtain a part number or other identifying number, and could likely pick it up at a hardware store. Otherwise, try
  1. http://www.searspartsdirect.com/ [call if necessary] or https://encompass.com/
  2. a search engine like Google's or Yahoo's
  3. http://www.searchtempest.com/, which displays global listings from eBay, Craigslist, and other sources

(For option 3, you may want to use a free tracking program like https://www.followthatpage.com to save you from having to repeat your search over time.)
