Transport Bolts
if the transport bolts are not removed, will the washer not perform correctly?

You always have to take the bolts out before running the machine. They hold the drum in place for shipping, but will make the machine shake like crazy if you don't take them out. Bad for the machine!
If you are asking if you should transport it without the bolts, Bosch would say no, most installers and techs would say just be very careful and watch the bumps. If the drum bangs the side of the machine it could warp the drum and therefore the machine. Bad!
