Bosch She3ar55uc/08 Will Not Drain

I start unit and can hear the pump running. Water already in the unit does not drain. After another attempt at draining the unit skips to 'complete' in about 2 minutes total. I've cleaned the removable filter. If the drain line is blocked after pump will the pump bog down or just run 'no load'?
