  1. Access to the "Restriction" option is as follows:
  2. Please press MENU
  3. Select Setup (9)
  4. Select Security (4) (default lock code is the last 4 digits of the telephone number assigned to that phone.)
  5. Select Restriction (5)
  6. Outgoing (1) yes/no
  • Incoming (2) yes/no
  • Phonebook (3) yes/no

How the "Restriction" feature works is as follows:

  • Outgoing - Set to Yes, restricts outgoing calls, the phone can receive calls only.
  • Incoming - Set to Yes, restricts all incoming calls, the phone can send calls only.
  • Phonebook - Set to Yes, restricts all both incoming and outgoing to only numbers that are entered into the Phonebook.

Using the "Phonebook" restriction is one way of restricting or blocking calls, however, if you do not wish to restrict all calls to just those in the phone book, we advise contacting Verizon for assistance. There is a service feature usually called "Call Blocking". A Verizon representative will be able to explain this feature and how it is utilized.
