Boost Says My Voicemail Upgraded

When I try to reach my voicemail on boost android model SPH-M930DST, there is a message from boost saying my voice mail has been upgraded and to create a new pass code when I try to key in the numbers and hit the pound sign the system does not receive it. And just repeats the instructions.
