<> 1. Go to the "Send Text" portion of your Boost Mobile phone, just as though you are going to send a text message...  because you will be sending one to Boost Mobile. <> 2. In the text header (not the text message body), type: 9999.  (It might show up as 999-9) but don't worry about that. <> 3. Now, navigate to the "text body" portion where you would type a message to someone. In that section, type in BLOCK and the phone number.  Example:
BLOCK1234567890.  Do not use any dashes or spaces. <> 4. Now send the message and it will go to Boost Mobile.  Within one to two minutes you will receive a text message back from Boost Mobile that confirms that you blocked the phone number.

September 6th, 1:22PM. I JUST blocked a number with Boost and they send a reply txt as well. Most of these answers are correct. To clarify. The number you send the txt to is 9999, then in subject put BLOCK(yes all caps) then press space ONCE and enter the number including area code. Should look like this. BLOCK 509-999-9999. The msg they send back is-BST Free MSG:Txt msg from/to 509-999-9999 are now blocked.

No...the ONLY way you can block a number is by text message. You can not block them from calling you though.  & you can not block a restricted or private number at all.

If you have an iphone this is easy. Click on "recent calls" then click on the blue i next to the number you wish to block. You will then be given the option to clock the number.

On your home phone-- simply call your provider and ask to have the number blocked

I spoke w/ a supervisor at BOOST and they said the only way is to block ALLincoming numbers except the ones stored in your phonebook.. Well really it wont block unidentified numbers it will send them straight to voicemail. So if you can work with that your okay.. In my case I only wanted to block a specific number and always have friends or family calling from numbers I don't have stored.. Sounded like more of a hassle to me than it was worth. But the numbers that don't ring your phone(that are not in your contacts) will be able to leave a message. They are supposed to let me know if they come up with a way to just block one number..

Hope that helped... Charity
