The BEST answer anyone can give you is this: Don't buy a Blackberry for personal use! (Take it from me, I own an 8100 Pearl and an 8800 (the FAT Pearl) prototype (No WiFi or Camera). And yes I still use it, and yes it stinks as a personal phone. It was great for Business, though very expensive to operate. It was about the same cost as an Apple iPhone but still 2X that of any other Smart-phone with an Unlimited account.
But, I digress...
You won't be able to call Blackberry directly unless you're an authorized Dealer. The closest you or anybody can get is to contact the Carrier (AT&T, T*Mobile, Metro PCS, whoever) that you purchased the phone through. Your carrier should be able to answer all your questions. IF THEY CAN'T ANSWER YOUR ISSUE RIGHT AWAY, be patient. They will get ahold of the RIM device support division to get you your answer.
Remember, don't get upset with your carrier and their tech support people. They are trying to help but no carrier has ALL the answers. Even Tech Support needs Tech Support from time to time.
