I Cant Delete Pictures, How Can I Fix It

I just purchased the new bold from ATT and I was deleting pictures and then all of a sudden my pictures wouldnt delete. I would click delete like 4 times and then a icon came up which was blank I hit delete one more time then it said The selected file is read only. Are you sure you wish to delete the file? What do I do to fix it?
