Why Does My Vacuum Work For 10-20 Seconds Then Turns Off?
After full charge over night. Still will not run as expected. What can I do?

I located a different manual at Black & Decker that states the unit uses what they refer to as an "embedded" Lithium-Ion battery. ??????-00 Cir Saw book (blackanddecker.com).
These batteries do not suffer from charge memory like the old Ni-Cad ones, but do suffer from heat damage. If it no longer holds a charge you should call Black & Decker since as they state here: CHV1410L Replacement battery - BLACK+DECKER (blackanddecker.com), the battery is non-replaceable and they would replace the entire unit (if) it's under warranty. Call them to find out. 800-544-6986
