The Clean Filter Indicator lets you know when to clean your filters.

The clean filter indicator tells you when the air flow in your vacuum is reduced due to dirty filters or a clog in the hose. The clean filter indicator will remain green until the airflow is reduced. At that time, it begins to change to red. When the indicator is fully red, the airflow is significantly reduced or clogged by a dirty filter. Follow the steps on page 11 to clean your filters or there is a clog in the hose. All filters in the vacuum should be cleaned or replaced when the clean filter indicator turns red. To check and remove the clog, follow the steps on page 12 to check for and clear clogs.
