Why Filter Smell Bad After Washing?
I cleaned the filter (both the foam and pleated part) of my brand new Bissell Smartclean according to your instructions and now it smells disgusting. Cant use it. What to do?

It could be because of what was on the filter and it could be because it didn't dry thoroughly. You can tap the dust and dirt out of the filters against a trash can if you prefer not to wash them. Additionally, if you would like to by and extra set so one can always be in use while the other is drying, just visit www.bissell.com/?cid=ccsocial and type in your model number for parts.
