Bissel Happy Home Vac Suction Only Fills Up Hose..does Not Go Into Cannister...

This is a very simple fix for you. The vacuum hose needs to be firmly replaced on the back of the unit. There is a suction diverter door that diverts the suction from either the hose or the floor, and it is triggered when the hose is replaced properly on the back of the unit. Try this, it should help.
