Why

Why when I open up my home page there already is a search item in my Bing search, I did not want this i did not ask for this so why is it there

Takes too long to explain why it's there, let's just fix it. Open google, type bing in search bar, click on bing hyperlink in search results, this should bring up bing with an empty search box, now just save this page as home page (tools, options, general, startup, use current page).
